White Stuff

I have no idea what this is, but I know it's not a dandelion. It's some sort of plant that has plagued the world with hayfever and spawned.

I went on a trip to a local nature reserve armed with camera and tripod, and actually, the shots that turned out best were the macro shots. I used the reverse lens technique, which quite literally involves removing the lens, turning it round and holding it in place, which wasn't half hard. I was taking up the entire path in my efforts to get this dead still, and I got cramp at the same time. The lengths we artists go to.

... I am trying to make shots of ordinary things slightly more extraordinary. I, personally, think this looks pretty cool, but I would love to know what you think.

Ah mushrooms, they just have to be difficult don't they?!
